🌱 Planting & Repotting:
Prefers acidic, well-draining soil (pH 4.5–5.5). Amend with peat moss or acidic compost if needed. Can be planted directly into garden beds or grown in containers. For containers, use an acidic soil mix. In the ground, dig a hole twice the width of the root ball, mix in acidic amendments, and mulch to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

Plant in full sun (at least 6–8 hours daily) for optimal fruit production and foliage color.

💧 Watering:
Keep the soil evenly moist, especially during flowering and fruiting. Avoid overwatering or allowing the soil to completely dry out.

🌿 Fertilizing:
Use an acid-loving plant fertilizer in early spring and again after the first harvest. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers.

✂️ Pruning:
Minimal pruning needed in the first two years. After that, prune in early spring to remove dead wood and encourage new growth.

Hardy in Zones 4–8. In colder regions, mulch heavily around the base and protect container plants from harsh winter winds.
